The Polka is an Italian-made bar stool with a polypropylene seat and back on a natural beech timber frame and a 790mm seat height. Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my counter or bar?
At 790mm the seat is taller than a standard bar stool, suiting a high bar or leaner of roughly 1090mm to 1140mm. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat. On a 900mm kitchen counter it will not work at all.

What colours are available?
The polypropylene seat and back come in black or white, both on the natural beech frame.

How should polypropylene be cleaned?
A damp cloth and mild detergent handle everything. It is colourfast and non-porous, so it will not stain the way fabric does, but avoid abrasives, which dull the surface.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
