PURE Berlin Dining Table Silverback - 2200mm | Online8 New Zealand

About PURE Furniture
Founded in 2002, PURE Furniture is a Dutch-Romanian maker of solid timber and leather furniture, letting the natural character of its materials define each piece. Explore the full range at purefurniture.com.

The 2.2 metre Berlin in Silverback is made from solid oak salvaged from old Romanian farm buildings, with the signature inset panel and powder-coated black metal bar. Silverback is a reaction-based colour between iron oxide and the oak's natural tannins, so the finish keeps developing depth and character over the years.

Why It Stands Apart

  • Salvaged Romanian Farm Oak: Timber with genuine age and provenance.
  • Evolving Silverback Finish: A natural reaction that deepens in tone as the table ages.
  • Inset Panel & Metal Bar: A powder-coated black bar adds a refined industrial detail.
  • Versatile 2200mm Size: Big enough for family dining while still fitting most dining rooms.

Do not apply chemicals or oils, as the Silverback finish can be affected by external substances.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the Silverback colour change?
Yes, gently. Silverback is a reaction between iron oxide and the natural tannins in the oak, and it develops more depth over time.

Can I oil or treat the surface?
No. Don't apply chemicals or oils to the Silverback finish, as outside substances can affect the colour.
