Roughly 80 years in the making — this full-height display cabinet is built from genuine reclaimed oak that carries decades of grain and colour history. Standing 2200mm tall with glazed doors and iron hardware, it lets you show glassware, ceramics or books while keeping them free of dust. Because the oak is truly reclaimed, natural variation in grain and colour is expected, so each cabinet differs from the next. It arrives fully assembled and ready to position.

How old is the timber?
Around 80 years old. The oak is genuinely reclaimed, so natural variation in grain, colour and marks is expected — and it is what makes each cabinet unique.
Does it need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes. At 2200mm tall with glazed doors, anchoring is a safety measure rather than an option. Fix it into wall studs before loading, and keep the heaviest items on the lower shelves.
Will it fit through my doorway and under my ceiling?
Measure carefully, because it ships assembled rather than flat-packed. The cabinet travels as a single 1120mm × 450mm × 2200mm piece, so check doorway widths, hallway corners and any stairwell turn. Allow at least 2250mm of clear ceiling height, and more if it must be tilted upright inside the room.
How should the oak be cared for?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which fades reclaimed timber unevenly over time. Wipe the glass separately with a standard glass cleaner rather than spraying across the timber.
