Rectangle Antique Wall Mirror | Online8 New Zealand

A mirror 530mm wide and 1195mm high, built from heavily antiqued glass panels with resin floral hardware where the panels meet. Panelling the glass rather than using a single sheet is what creates the effect: each panel takes the antiquing slightly differently, so the hue shifts across the face and no two mirrors come out the same.

Why It Stands Apart

  • Panelled rather than single-sheet glass. Each panel ages differently, so the hue varies across the face and every mirror is genuinely unique.
  • Resin floral hardware. Decorative flower detailing at the panel junctions, which turns a panelled mirror into an ornamental one.
  • Tall narrow format. At 530mm by 1195mm it suits a hallway, a chimney return or the space between windows where a wider mirror will not fit.
  • Iron-dominant construction. Iron makes up half the build, which is what holds a tall panelled frame square.

Will the reflection be clear?
No, and that is the intention. Heavily antiqued panelled glass gives a broken, softened reflection with strong vintage character. It is a decorative mirror rather than a practical one.

Will it look exactly like the photograph?
No. The antiquing takes differently on each panel, so hue and mottling vary from mirror to mirror.

Is there a round version?
Yes, the same antiqued panelled construction is made as a 910mm round mirror.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
