Regency Storage Cabinet - Old Elm | Online8 New Zealand

Roughly 80 years in the making, this solid Old Elm storage cabinet stands 2200mm tall with everything shut away behind the doors. It is a deliberately plain piece with no glazing, carving or metalwork, which puts all the interest into the genuinely aged timber itself. Old elm has enough figure and colour variation to carry that on its own, and because it is reclaimed, natural variation between pieces is expected.

This is a pre-order item scheduled for August 2026 delivery. Orders placed now reserve stock from that shipment.

Will it fit through my doorway?
At 2200mm tall, check ceiling height, doorways and stairwells on your delivery route before ordering.

Will it look exactly like the photos?
No. Old elm varies in grain, tone and markings between pieces, so expect natural variation from the images.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
