The Riga is a black bar stool in solid American FAS grade ash, finished with a Steed Black stain over a black powder-coated metal footrest and standing 780mm high. FAS is the top hardwood lumber grade, so you get long, clear lengths with minimal defect, and the stain colours the timber while letting the ash grain read through rather than sealing it under an opaque coat.

Will it fit my counter or bar?
At 780mm overall this is sized for a raised bar or high island of roughly 1080mm to 1130mm. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat. It will sit too high at a standard 900mm kitchen counter.

What customisation is available?

How should the stained ash be cared for?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and wipe spills promptly. Keep it out of prolonged direct sunlight, which will lift a dark stain unevenly over time.
