An 800mm round mirror with antiqued glass in an iron frame, only 19mm deep. The antiquing is applied to the glass itself rather than the frame, which is the unusual part: the reflection comes back softened and slightly clouded, so the mirror reads as genuinely old rather than as a new mirror in an aged surround.
Why It Stands Apart
- Antiquing in the glass, not the frame. The reflection itself is softened and mottled, which is what makes it read as a genuinely old mirror rather than a new one dressed up.
- Only 19mm deep. The slimmest mirror in the collection, sitting almost flat against the wall.

Will the reflection be clear?
No, and that is intended. Antiqued glass gives a softened, slightly mottled reflection with vintage character. If you need a mirror to check your appearance in, choose a clear-glass one instead.
How is it hung?
From fixings on the back. At 800mm and predominantly iron this carries real weight, so use fixings rated well above it and fix into a stud where possible.
How should the antiqued glass be cleaned?
Apply glass cleaner to a soft cloth rather than spraying at the mirror. Avoid abrasives entirely, as the antiqued surface cannot be restored if it is scratched.
