An ornate round mirror 1125mm across in an antique gold finish, with intricate moulded detailing around the frame. The material is what makes the detail possible: polyurethane takes fine ornamental moulding far more crisply than carved timber at this price, and it keeps a mirror of this diameter light enough to hang without a structural fixing.

How is it hung?
From fixings on the back. Although lighter than a timber frame, a 1125mm mirror still carries real weight, so use wall fixings rated well above it and fix into studs where possible. Check for wiring before drilling, and have someone help you lift it into place.
What size will it look on my wall?
At 1125mm it needs a clear wall area of roughly 2200mm. Above a console or mantel, leave 200mm to 300mm between the furniture top and the base of the frame.
How should the frame and glass be cleaned?
Dust the frame with a soft dry cloth. Apply glass cleaner to the cloth rather than spraying it at the mirror, so nothing runs behind the glass or sits on the moulded detail. Avoid abrasives entirely.
