Royal Stag Canvas Wall Art | Online8 New Zealand

A red stag in full antler, standing in long grass with the light going soft behind him. Printed on canvas at 90 x 135cm and framed in a dark brown L-profile, it's a large, sober piece — the kind that suits a study, a hallway with some height, or a lodge-style living room where the furniture is already timber and leather.

Why It Stands Apart

  • Substantial 90 x 135cm portrait — a genuine feature piece, not a token print
  • Dark brown L-frame: the profile sits proud of the canvas, giving depth rather than a flat edge
  • Warm, muted palette that works with leather, oak and wool rather than fighting them
  • Classic subject with lasting appeal — a stag doesn't date the way a trend piece does
  • Arrives framed and ready to hang

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an L-frame?
A frame profile that sits around and slightly proud of the canvas edge, leaving a shadow gap. It gives a floating look rather than pressing the canvas flat.

How much wall does it need?
Around 1.4m of clear width lets a 90cm-wide piece breathe.

Is it glazed?
No — it's a canvas print, so there's no glass to reflect.

How should I hang it?
Centre it near eye level, or about 25cm above a sofa back or sideboard.

Can I see it?
Please give our showroom a call at 09 278 8881 to check if this is on display.
