A 161cm sideboard in natural brushed mindi. Brushing the timber wears away the softer grain and leaves the harder growth rings standing slightly proud, so the surface has texture you can feel rather than a sprayed-flat finish. At 78cm it is low enough to sit under most window sills, which makes it the choice for a wall with glazing.

When will it arrive?
This is a pre-order. Stock is due to land approximately October 2026. Ordering now reserves one from the incoming shipment.
What does "brushed" mean?
The timber is worked with a brush before finishing, which wears away the softer grain and leaves the harder growth rings raised. The result is a surface with genuine texture rather than a flat sprayed coat.
Will it fit under a window?
At 78cm high it clears most standard sill heights, which is the main reason to choose it over the taller Montero. Measure your sill before ordering.
How does it compare to the Montero?
Both are natural brushed mindi. The Montero is longer at 180cm and taller at 85cm. The Sahara is the shorter, lower of the two.
Will it match the photos exactly?
Not precisely. Slight variation in wood colour and texture is normal and is part of the character of the piece.
How do I care for it?
Wipe with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry it off. Avoid abrasive cleaners, and use mats or coasters under anything hot or wet. Dust along the grain rather than across it on a brushed surface.
