Sea Mist Panoramic Painting Wall Art | Online8 New Zealand

A horizon dissolving into fog — a band of pale sea, a band of pale sky, and almost nothing to separate them. Hand painted on canvas at 150 x 70cm in a black L-frame. At more than two-to-one it is a true panorama, and the emptiness of the image is exactly what makes that shape work.

Why It Stands Apart

  • 1.5m wide panorama — the right shape for the long low wall above a sofa or bedhead
  • Hand painted, so the surface carries real brushwork rather than printed flatness
  • Almost no detail and almost no colour: genuinely restful, and it will not date
  • Black L-frame gives a very pale image the definition it needs
  • Adds depth and atmosphere without committing the room to a colour

Frequently Asked Questions

How much wall do I need?
At least 1.8m of clear width for it to sit properly.

What sofa size suits it?
A two-and-a-half or three-seater of around 2m.

Does the painting vary between pieces?
Yes — it is hand painted, so expect slight differences.

How should it be hung?
Two fixings, levelled carefully. A single central hook will let a piece this wide tilt.
