Solid rattan poles are bound by hand onto a rattan frame in the traditional wicker method, giving the seat both give and structure. Because rattan is solid through its section rather than hollow like bamboo, a stool built this way lasts generations.

Will it fit my counter or bar?
The 760mm seat suits a raised bar or high island of roughly 1060mm to 1110mm. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat. For a standard 900mm kitchen counter, the Salsa is also made at 630mm.

Can it be used outdoors?
No, this is an indoor-only piece. Natural rattan left exposed to weather will dry out, split and lose its shape.

How much maintenance does it need?
Effectively none. Sika rattan requires no routine care, though it can be wiped over with a lightly dampened cloth when needed.
