Timber with a past: the reclaimed elm in this bookcase is around 80 years old, and it shows in every mark and grain line. The narrowest of the elm industrial range at just 660mm wide but a full 2130mm tall, it delivers real height and shelf count in a slim footprint that fits where larger units cannot. Genuine reclaimed elm boards sit in a black iron frame, and because the timber is truly salvaged, natural variation in grain and colour is expected — no two are alike.

How old is the timber?
Around 80 years old. The elm is genuinely reclaimed, so natural variation in grain, colour and marks is expected — and it is what makes each unit unique.

Does it need to be anchored to the wall?
Yes, and more so than the wider units. A 660mm-wide base carrying 2130mm of height has a narrow stance, so fixing it into wall studs is essential before you load it.

Will it fit through my doorway and under my ceiling?
It is assembled in position, so the 660mm width clears any standard doorway easily. Check ceiling height: 2130mm needs a 2400mm ceiling or better, plus clearance for any light fitting above where it will stand.

How does it compare with the Medium and Large?
All three run to the same 2130mm height and 450mm depth. Only the width changes, from 660mm here to 1170mm for the Medium and 2130mm for the Large.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
