Sparkle Silver Foil Canvas Wall Art | Online8 New Zealand
A wave curling over at the moment before it breaks, worked in teal and white with silver foil catching along the crest and the spray. Textured canvas at 120 x 80cm in a silver L-frame. The foil is doing something specific here — it mimics the way light sits on moving water, so the wave glitters as you move past it.
Why It Stands Apart
- Silver foil along the crest and spray — it genuinely catches light the way water does
- Textured canvas surface adds physical relief to the wave form
- Silver L-frame carried through from the foil, so the piece reads as one thing
- 120 x 80cm landscape — the right shape for a breaking wave, and good above a sofa or bedhead
- Only one remaining at our supplier at the time of listing

Frequently Asked Questions
Where does silver foil show best?
Somewhere with lamplight or an angled downlight. Flat, even lighting wastes it.
Will it suit a bach or coastal home?
It is the obvious choice for one, and it works just as well in a city bedroom.
Is it glazed?
No — canvas, so no glass competing with the foil.
Will the foil tarnish?
Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from damp rooms and it will hold its finish.
Can I see it?
Please give our showroom a call at 09 278 8881 to check if this is on display.
