Staggering Stag Glass Wall Art | Online8 New Zealand

A stag in full antler against near-black, lit so the coat and the sweep of the antlers catch the light and everything else falls away. Glass art at 80 x 120cm. On a subject this dark, glass earns its place — the sheen across the surface is what gives the animal form, where a matt canvas would flatten it into a silhouette.

Why It Stands Apart

  • Glass front: essential on a low-key image, where reflected light is what reveals the detail
  • Tall 80 x 120cm portrait — the antlers need the height, and get it
  • Near-black ground means it holds a wall without adding a colour to the room
  • Reads as one strong shape from across a room, and rewards a close look

Frequently Asked Questions

How should it be fixed?
Glass art at this size is heavy. Fix into studs or use rated wall anchors, not a single plasterboard hook.

Is it framed?
The supplier lists it as glass art without specifying a frame. Call us on 09 278 8881 and we'll confirm how it's finished before you order.

How does it compare to Royal Stag?
Royal Stag is a canvas print in a brown frame with a soft, naturalistic field setting. This one is glass, darker and far more dramatic.

Will glare be a problem?
Hang it on a wall perpendicular to a window rather than facing one and you'll see the most detail.

Can I see it?
Please give our showroom a call at 09 278 8881 to check if this is on display.
