Step Up Textured Canvas Wall Art

Step Up Textured Canvas Wall Art - 100 x 100cm | Online8 New Zealand

A pale, heavily worked abstract — cream and off-white built up in vertical drifts with fine ochre and charcoal marks running through it. Canvas with textured embellishment at a true 100 x 100cm square, in a black L-frame. Close up it is all surface; from across the room it settles into a calm, near-neutral field. The black frame is what gives it definition.

Why It Stands Apart

• Textured embellishment over the canvas — raised, worked surface rather than a printed effect
• Essentially neutral, so it adds interest to a wall without adding a colour
• Black L-frame contains a pale image that would otherwise float away on a white wall
• True 100 x 100cm square — suits a chimney breast or a wide low wall
• Reads completely differently up close than from a distance

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it look like much on a white wall?
The black frame does the work. On a white wall the frame defines it and the texture reads as shadow.

Does the texture vary between pieces?
Yes — it is applied by hand.

What furniture suits it?
A sideboard or console of 1.5m or wider.

Is it glazed?
No — canvas, which is what lets the texture show properly.

Can I see it?
