A 1200mm metal console in greyed-brown from May Time's Studio range. At just 300mm deep it takes almost nothing out of a hallway, which is the whole reason a console exists — a surface for keys, a lamp and a bowl in a space too narrow for furniture. Handmade, with clean lines and no ornament.

Will it fit my hallway?
At 300mm deep it projects less than most consoles. Measure your hall width and allow at least 900mm of clear passage in front of it.

Can I use it behind a sofa?
Yes. At 790mm high it sits above the back of most sofas, and the 300mm depth means it does not push the sofa far off the wall.

Does it have storage?
No drawers or shelves — it is a single-surface console. For open storage in the same range, the Kiya Low Profile Shelf has two shelves at 1350mm wide.
