An office storage cupboard with a tambour front: instead of doors that swing out, the shutter rolls sideways within the cabinet's own footprint. That is the entire point of the design. In a corridor, a tight office or beside a desk, a conventional cupboard needs half a metre of clear space in front of it before it can be opened at all, and a tambour needs none. Standing 1980mm tall and 900mm wide, with moveable shelves and a centralised locking system.

Why It Stands Apart

• Zero door swing. The tambour shutter travels within the cabinet, so the cupboard can sit in a corridor, behind a chair or against a desk run where a hinged door simply could not open.

Yes. At 1980mm tall on a 500mm-deep base, and holding the kind of concentrated weight that files and folders represent, it should be fixed into wall studs once assembled. Load the lower shelves first.

How much clearance does the tambour need?
None in front, which is the reason to choose it. The shutter rolls within the cabinet's own width and depth, so you can position it in a passage or hard against other furniture.

How many shelves does it come with?
