That trade is worth understanding rather than glossing over — you get the same 1100 x 1500mm scale, the same 67mm depth and the same bevelled glass as the carved mahogany versions, with ornament that is cast rather than cut. Why is this cheaper than your other white ornate bevelled wall mirror?
Different construction. This is SKU AH3010, with cast composite ornament over a timber core. The other is SKU AH3039 at 799, built on a mahogany frame with hand-carved detailing. Same size, same finish colour, same bevelled glass — the difference is cast versus carved, and whether that matters to you depends on how closely the mirror will be seen.

Is this an antique?
No. It is brand new and deliberately finished to look aged, so it arrives with worn character rather than acquiring it. That also means it carries none of the fragility of a genuine antique.

How should it be fixed to the wall?
Into structural framing across more than one stud. At 1100 x 1500mm with a deep frame this carries real weight, and plasterboard anchors alone are not adequate. Check for wiring or pipework before drilling and lift it into place with two people.

How do I clean an ornate frame?
Dust with a soft dry brush rather than a cloth, which catches in the detailing. Apply glass cleaner to the cloth rather than spraying it, so nothing runs down into the ornament. Avoid abrasives, which strip an applied finish rather than restoring it.

Can it go in a bathroom?
No. There is timber beneath the composite, and sustained humidity will lift the finish and swell the core. Keep it to living areas, hallways and bedrooms.
