A full-length mirror 1650mm tall in a weathered brown paulownia frame. The frame is unusually generous: at 700mm wide overall against 450mm of glass, there is 125mm of timber down each side, which is what gives a leaning mirror its visual weight and stops it looking like a bare pane propped against a wall.

Is it safe to lean against a wall?
Only if it is secured. At 1650mm tall and only 28mm deep, with a very light paulownia frame, this has a high centre of gravity and almost no base depth, which makes it easier to tip than a heavier mirror. Fit a wall strap or anchor bracket to the frame and into a stud, particularly in a household with children or pets. It can also be hung conventionally.
How much of me will I see?
The glass is 1550mm tall and 450mm wide. That covers full height for most people, but the 450mm width is narrower than many dressing mirrors, so step back further than usual to see a full outfit.
How should the timber be cared for?
Dust with a soft dry cloth. Paulownia is soft as well as light, so it marks more easily than oak or mahogany. Avoid solvent cleaners on the weathered finish.
