Trang Counter Stool - Black | Online8 New Zealand

The Trang is an all-iron counter stool in black, 650mm high with an unusually deep 510mm frame. Building the whole stool from iron rather than mixing materials is what gives it its weight and rigidity: there is no joint between a timber seat and a metal base to work loose, which is the usual point of failure on a stool that gets daily use.

Will it fit my counter or bar?
At 650mm this is counter height, suiting a standard kitchen bench of roughly 900mm. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat. It will sit too low at a raised bar of 1050mm or more.

Is it sold individually or as a set?
The Trang is sold as a set of two or a set of four. Choose the set that suits your bench run on this page before adding to cart.

Will it mark my floor?
Iron concentrates its weight on small feet, so check the base against timber or vinyl before sliding it about. Felt pads are worth fitting from the start on softer floors.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
