It is the largest of our three vintage-styled panel mirrors, and at this scale it stops behaving like a decorative object and starts working architecturally — a second window in a room that only has one, doubling whatever light and view sits opposite it. If you have a long blank wall in a hallway or a dining room, this is the piece that resolves it.

Is the glass antiqued?
Our supplier data does not specify it for this piece, and we would rather not guess. How should it be fixed to the wall?
Into structural framing, spanning more than one stud. At 1650mm this is past the point where plasterboard anchors alone are acceptable, and a large glass panel that comes off a wall is a serious hazard rather than a broken ornament. Locate your studs first, check for wiring or pipework behind the fixing points, and treat it as a two-person lift.

Can it lean against the wall instead?
Only if you secure it. At 1650mm it can be pulled over by a child or a pet. Strap or bracket it into a stud, never lean it on a rug or an uneven floor, and never place it where a door can swing into it.
