How should it be fixed to the wall?
Into solid framing, not plasterboard alone. A full rack of wine is a meaningful load held out from the wall, so locate the studs and fix into them. If the stud spacing does not line up with the mounting points, use appropriately rated cavity fixings rather than standard plugs.

How much weight will it hold?
Each full 750ml bottle runs around 1.2kg, so a loaded rack adds up quickly. The strength of the installation is almost always the wall fixing rather than the metalwork, which is why the mounting matters more than the rack itself.

Where is the best place to mount it?
Away from direct sunlight and from heat sources such as a range, oven or heat pump outlet. Steady temperature matters more than cool temperature for everyday storage, so an interior wall generally beats a spot beside a window.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
