Zero Italian Barstool - Black | Online8 New Zealand

The Zero Italian Barstool in black is made in Italy from 100% recycled polypropylene, with a 770mm bar-height seat and a ten-year warranty covering indoor and outdoor use. That warranty is the striking part: ten years is double what most commercial stools carry, and covering outdoor use as well is rarer still, because UV and rain are what usually void an outdoor guarantee. It stacks five high.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will it fit my counter or bar?
The 770mm seat suits a raised bar or high island of roughly 1070mm to 1120mm. Measure from the floor to the underside of your benchtop and allow 250mm to 300mm of clearance above the seat. It will sit too high at a standard 900mm kitchen counter.

How much weight can it hold?
It is rated to a maximum user weight of 140kg.

Can it stay outside permanently?
Yes. The warranty covers outdoor as well as indoor use, which is unusual, and recycled polypropylene handles sun and rain without the fading or cracking that catches out lesser plastics.

What other colours are available?
The Zero is also offered in blue and in stone, at the same dimensions, specification and price.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
 
The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
