The wider Island Life design, finished in chalk — a soft off-white that sits warmer than a bright white against natural bedding. Four places to put things: two drawers, a pull-out tray, and an open lower shelf. How does this differ from the other white Island Life bedside table?
Two different designs. This one is wider at 640 x 440mm and adds a pull-out tray and open lower shelf. The other is 615 x 410mm with cross-front drawers and a lipped top.
Is chalk the same as white?
Chalk is a soft off-white — warmer and less clinical than a pure white, and easier to pair with natural linen and timber.
What is the pull-out tray for?
It's a sliding surface between the top and the drawers. Pull it out for a cup and a book without disturbing what's on the table top.
How do I care for the finish?
Water-based paint under a lacquer top coat wipes clean easily. Use a soft, barely damp cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners.
