Lustrous gold faux silk wraps the body, warmed further by bronze powder-coated legs — there's no cool metal anywhere on it, which is what makes it read as genuinely rich rather than merely metallic. It's also the tallest of the drawer tables at 722mm, with two drawers, so the presence comes with real storage behind it.

Is the silk real?
No — it's a faux silk finish, so it has the sheen and depth of silk without absorbing spills the way real textile would. It wipes clean.

How bold is the gold?
It's a warm, luminous gold rather than a bright metallic. It reads as a rich accent, but it is the boldest finish in the range — if you want restraint, the taupe version of the same table is the safer choice.

How does it compare to the taupe two-drawer table?
Identical dimensions and drawer configuration. The differences are the finish and the legs — gold silk on bronze here, taupe shagreen on silverleaf there.

Will the pale gold mark?
It's non-porous and wipes clean, but light finishes show marks more readily. Deal with spills promptly and use coasters under drinks.

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out minimum standards for the products we sell.  We will repair or replace any product in accordance with the Act if that product is faulty or otherwise fails to meet the standards imposed by the Act.
If for any reason a replacement or repair cannot be done then a refund will be processed. 
 
Fair Trading Act 1986
 
The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect customers from being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing, where the product was made, where the product is from, the meeting of New Zealand safety standards, the availability of products in store and the sales techniques used.
 
Returning Defective Products
 
Products must be returned and inspected with proof of purchase before we will provide any repair, replacement or refund.
 
Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986, we may repair, replace or refund any product that does not meet the standards set out in those Acts.
 
Any refund will be credited to the card used to purchase the product.
 
If you return a product that is not defective and complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993:
 
a.  The product will be returned to you at your expense and upon your payment of further shipping fees.
b.  The product will be disposed of after 30 days from receipt if we are not provided with further shipping fees and a return shipping address.
