A 1600mm floor lamp from Danish designer Kristina Dam, built from brushed aluminium and oiled walnut. The cone tapers smoothly from a circular base to a single apex point — the same geometry as the Cone Table Lamp, scaled up to stand beside a chair or anchor a corner. At 16.5kg it is a substantial piece rather than a light stand.
Why It Stands Apart

What bulb does it take?
An E27 screw-in bulb, 25W maximum. Do not exceed 25W.
How much floor space does it need?
520 x 400mm at the base, standing 1600mm tall. At 16.5kg it holds its position without needing a wide footprint.
Can I use it in a bathroom?
No — the Cone lamps are rated for indoor use only, and specifically not for bathrooms or outdoors.
How do I clean it?
Switch it off and unplug it first. Use only a hard-wrung cloth on both the aluminium and the walnut, and dry immediately with a dry cloth. No chemical cleaners on either material.
Is there a matching table lamp?
Yes — the Cone Table Lamp uses the same cone geometry and materials at 440mm high.
Anything to know about installation?
Stand it on a level, even surface and read the user manual before first use. Kristina Dam recommends consulting a qualified electrician for any wiring work, for both safety and warranty.
